I’m Sophie. I’m from California, but I spent the last year living in Paris. Yeah, I base my life decisions off of Netflix shows. So what?

I’m usually a storyteller and comedian on stage, but since I was in a predominantly non-English speaking country for a year, I wanted to share on a virtual stage, if you will. A few things:

Everything I write is true. It was and also is my life. That said: names have been changed, some details have been edited.

Since my year in France has ended, I'll be posting things in chunks. Maybe chapters is a better word for it. But check back often to make sure you don't miss the next part of the story. If you want to, of course. (I hope you want to)
